Post Format Tools – Justin Tadlock

As the WordPress 3.6 release cycle starts getting into full swing there are plenty of things to start getting excited about! One of the items that I’m pretty excited about is the Post Formats UI. As it stands many theme developers (myself included) have come up with their own functions either using php and/or JavaScript to pull out the first link in a post, wrap a quote in blockquotes if it doesn’t already have them, remove the title for links and so on and so forth.

During the discussions to date Justin Tadlock posted a link to some code in his Hybrid Framework which shows how he handles some of the post formats. I always love seeing how other people do things so I wanted to link to it!
