Neighbour: “Hey, any chance you can play your acoustic guitars more often?”
Me: “Argh. Sorry is it too loud when I play them?”
Neighbour: “No. If anything it’s not loud enough. We love hearing you play guitar. We actually turn off the TV to listen to you play and sing.”
Me: “I’m actually freaking shocking at playing guitar and singing compared to what I used to be like. I’m planning on getting some guitar lessons in July. If it sounds good to you now then it’s clearly the guitars making me sound good”.
